PodStak™ Modular Pods for Accessibility are British manufactured to the highest specification. Pods can be made for any area of a property, internal or external. The purpose of using pods is to make provision for a temporary facility without the disruption of full construction works. Pre-manufactured in the factory, within days, Pods can be delivered flat-packed and easily assembled on site with minimum disruption, or if preferred they can be delivered fully assembled, ready for services to be connected. The versatility of the system is unlimited; any shape, any size, completely bespoke to your agreed specification. Unlike some imported solutions, we are not constrained by fixed sizes and long lead times currently being experienced.
The structural walls and ceilings mean that the floor can be as little as 8mm thick making step-free access for wheelchairs. PodStak™ pods are made from a recycled glass composite material, which is fully recyclable again when the pod comes to the end of its lifecycle. A range of internal decor surfaces are available, including special surfaces for decontamination in our infection control units, which also have weatherproof external cladding. The external faces of indoor units can be plastered or papered to blend with existing decorations. Jackable and removable jockey wheels make positioning on site easy and then once in situ, these can be raised and removed prior to decorating.
