The TurnAid was developed to assist with care, turning and repositioning of immobile patients in hospital, or community care beds. The TurnAid system improves the working environment for carers while it increases the safety and the dignity of clients. The motorised twin roller system, using either foot or hand controls, enables a single carer to turn even bariatric clients on their own. Using the TurnAid, the carer can reposition their client from the supine position on their back, to lateral left, or lateral right, on their side, or fully prone on their front. because this is truly single-handed care, it saves countless hours of carer time and is so simple to use, that often family members can participate in care.
